Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation technologies and a proven track record in sales. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support the sales process.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial automation sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored automation solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs.
- Prepare detailed quotations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide post-sales customer account handling and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role within the industrial automation industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, SERVO, VFD, and other automation technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM software.
- Familiarity with IoT and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Previous experience in a technical support or field service role.

Education Criteria:
